User Agreement

1. Introduction

This User Access & Data Security Policy outlines the responsibilities of facilities using RehabApp and RehabApp in managing user permissions, data security, and privacy protection. By accessing and using RehabApp or RehabApp, all facilities acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Facility Responsibility for User Access Management

• Each facility is responsible for granting, managing, and removing user access to its RehabApp/RehabApp account.
• Upon termination of employment or change in role, facilities must promptly revoke former employee access to sensitive data to prevent unauthorized access.
• Facilities must maintain internal procedures to ensure only authorized personnel have access to the platform at all times.

3. Liability Disclaimer

• RehabApp and RehabApp are not responsible for any data breaches, unauthorized access, or HIPAA violations resulting from a facility’s failure to manage user permissions.
• Facilities assume full responsibility for protecting client data and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy laws.
• Any privacy violations, security incidents, or legal consequences arising from improper user management are solely the responsibility of the facility.

4. HIPAA & Data Security Compliance

• RehabApp and RehabApp implement HIPAA-compliant security measures, including encryption, password protection, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• However, facilities are responsible for maintaining internal compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding employee access, data sharing, and patient confidentiality.
• Facilities must take reasonable steps to secure their own devices, networks, and access points.

5. Acknowledgment of Responsibility

• Upon logging in, all facilities will be required to acknowledge their responsibility for managing employee permissions via a dialog box.
• Clicking “Acknowledge” or continued usage of this platform confirms that the facility understands and agrees to this User Access & Data Security Policy.
• Failure to acknowledge will result in restricted platform access until compliance is confirmed.

6. Amendments & Updates

This policy is subject to change. RehabApp and RehabApp reserve the right to update this document as needed to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards and regulations. Any updates will be communicated through the platform.
